The Dr. Pen M8S is a microneedling pen designed for precise, comfortable sessions at home or in a professional skincare or spa room. It combines six speed levels, an adjustable 0–2.5 mm depth dial and a secure 3-lock pin cartridge connector, so you can match each session to the area you're working on.

At a glance: 6 speeds · up to 18,000 RPM · 0–2.5 mm depth · 7 compatible cartridge types · 380 mAh battery · USB-C charging · aluminum alloy body

Key Benefits

  • Smoother-looking skin: Regular sessions help improve the look of fine lines, uneven texture and dull tone.
  • Better serum absorption: Micro-channels and the wavy cartridge surface help your serum spread and absorb more evenly.
  • Control for every area: The depth dial and six speeds let you adjust gently for the forehead, cheeks, neck or body.
  • Cleaner sessions: Each pin cartridge is individually sealed for single use, and its silicone membrane helps keep serum out of the pen.
  • Easy to handle: The lightweight aluminum alloy body and non-slip grip ring stay comfortable through a full session.

Features

  • 18,000 RPM motor: Six speed levels deliver smooth, steady operation from gentle to fast.
  • LED digital display: Shows the speed level while in use, "L" while charging and "F" when fully charged.
  • Low-battery alert: The speed number flashes when about 10% charge remains, so a session is never cut short unexpectedly.
  • 3-lock bayonet connector: Cartridges twist and lock into three slots for a stable, wobble-free connection.
  • Anti-backflow silicone membrane: Built into each cartridge to help keep serum from flowing back into the pen.
  • Wide cartridge choice: Works with Dr. Pen M8S/A11 cartridges in 12, 18, 24, 36 and 42 pins, plus round nano and silicone nano.
  • USB Type-C charging: Charges with a universal USB-C cable.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often can I use the Dr. Pen M8S?
For deeper microneedling sessions, allow 4–6 weeks between treatments. Gentle nano-cartridge sessions can be done about once a week, including between deeper sessions.

Which cartridges fit the M8S?
The M8S uses Dr. Pen 3-lock cartridges, the same ones that fit the Dr. Pen A11. Options include 12, 18, 24, 36 and 42 pins, round nano and silicone nano.

What's the difference between the M8S and the A11?
Both have six speeds and a 0–2.5 mm depth range, and they share the same cartridges. The A11 adds a larger battery and an induction stand that pauses the pen when you set it down, which is handy in a busy treatment room. The M8S is lighter and more portable.

Can I reuse a pin cartridge?
No. Every cartridge is single-use. Discard it after each session and never share it with anyone.

Is the M8S good for beginners?
Yes. Start at a shallow depth and low speed, use light pressure, and increase gradually as your skin gets used to it.
